The earlier NHB is a wall-hung heating-only condensing boiler. It does not make domestic hot water by itself. NHB-H is a different, current family; check availability and parts for older units. Choose a size from a room-by-room heat-loss calculation, distribution temperatures and venting. Navien’s NHB warranty gives qualifying single-family use one year labor and five years parts. Units made before July 1, 2018 have a 15-year heat-exchanger term; later units follow a prorated exchanger schedule. Check the model plate and certificate rather than assuming every NHB has the same term.
